What is the connection between extraterrestrials and QAnon?
~ by Perplexity
There is a connection between extraterrestrials and the QAnon conspiracy theory in that both involve beliefs in hidden, powerful forces controlling world events. QAnon adherents believe a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles secretly runs the world, while some also incorporate ideas about extraterrestrials.
The QAnon movement has been influenced by earlier conspiracy theories involving aliens and UFOs. Zecharia Sitchin’s “Anunnaki theory” claims that extraterrestrials created humanity and has been incorporated into some QAnon beliefs. The popularity of shows like “Ancient Aliens” has also helped spread ideas about aliens intervening in human history that QAnon has built upon.
While the US government recently acknowledged the existence of UFOs, this has not been conclusively linked to extraterrestrial origins. However, the admission has fueled conspiracy theories that the government is concealing evidence of alien visitations. This official validation has made some people more receptive to conspiracy theories involving extraterrestrials.
In summary, the QAnon conspiracy theory has absorbed ideas about extraterrestrials from earlier UFO conspiracy theories, and the recent government acknowledgment of UFOs has further encouraged the belief that aliens are involved in world events. However, there is no definitive proof that extraterrestrials are real or controlling world events as QAnon claims.
